In 2004, Dr. Gutenberg earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine – Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She then went on to complete her residency in anesthesiology and her fellowship in pain medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2008 and 2009, respectively. Among her most impressive achievements, she is board-certified in anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to advance the highest standards of the practice of anesthesiology. She is also board-certified in pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology, whose mission is to improve the quality of pain medicine.
